Dr. Changwon Son has received a funding ($114,534) from National Institute of Standards and Technology to develop educational materials and courses for emergency, disaster, and crisis management (EDCM) standards for engineering students. Dr. Son, the Principal Investigator (PI) of the project, will work with Dr. Mihwa Park (TTU Instructional Design and Curriculum) and Dr. Wesley Wehde (TTU Political Science) for next three years.

Dr. Will Crescioni, a faculty member in Texas Tech Psychological Sciences visited SHARE Lab on January 8, 2024. Dr. Crescioni tried the FLAIM, a VR-based firefighting simulator and in the FIRM (First Incident Responder's Mental health) experiment.
